[ It sounds a little exasperated, but not like he's genuinely annoyed by it, really - probably since he started that joke to begin with, so it'd be sort of hypocritical to complain about it now. Besides, it's not the real issue here, and he genuinely feels happy to see Nam Soon right now (especially right now, of all times) so it more or less glides off his back despite the way he responds. It's just since he's also trying to keep up the same usual tone between the two of them until he's moved back to his bed, this time opting to only sit on it with his feet on the floor instead of just lying down again already.
Instead he just lets out a sigh, because.. well, the real issue is just harder to discuss. Not just because Nam Soon's trying to get him to spill the beans in such an embarrassing way, but because he sort of feels like he's spoiled by only complaining about this sort of thing now. Nam Soon's spent plenty of nights by himself. Sure, he came over to sleep at Heung Soo's place a lot too back when they still had each other, and he always loved it when that happened, but.. then the whole incident happened. All those years, Nam Soon was mostly just by himself - it feels petty and childish to complain about the same issue his best friend had just been putting up with all this time.
Even if there's something a little more heavy to it with the current circumstances. It's not like their families are just elsewhere, it's that.. well, they're completely gone. And not just his sister, everyone is.
It's heavy. It's way too heavy for him to carry it all by himself - hence why he called over the one person he knows he can rely on no matter what, who understands him the best without him having to put things in words, who hasn't exactly lost the same thing he did this way, but it's the closest possible experience.]
.. I understand. Why you always came to sleep over, that is.
[ He doesn't look up at the other as he says it, instead keeping his gaze more lowered as he says it. Because it's a feeling that he couldn't fully understand up until now - even when Nam Soon abandoned him, even when his mother died, he still had his sister. He never had to sleep in a completely empty home while knowing everything he cared about as gone, never fully. That strange emptiness and that complete silence this apartment gives him.. it's new. And a little unsettling, almost. Enough to leave him sleepless, combined with all other issues. ]
